Carlton Douglas Ridenhour, aka Chuck D, is the founder of Public Enemy and considered a pioneer of politically conscious rap music. Among other things, Chuck D is a radio host and a frequent speaker on the college circuit these days when he's not trotting the globe. There was a discussion with Queen Mother Williams as we attempted to raise funds to preserve this listener-supported experiment called WBAI-FM/Pacifica Radio.
